What is the Fast-Infra Label?

The FAST-Infra Label is an innovative certification system designed to streamline the assessment and financing of sustainable infrastructure projects. This label provides investors, financial institutions, and project developers with a trusted framework to identify and support infrastructure projects that deliver genuine environmental and social benefits.

The label offers accelerated project approval processes, enhanced investor confidence through standardized assessment, streamlined access to sustainable financing, and transparent evaluation criteria for infrastructure projects.

It provides a robust framework to assess projects across four key sustainability pillars:

The label integrates over 55 existing standards and taxonomies into a single, user-friendly methodology, helping infrastructure developers validate their ESG commitments and attract responsible investment.

How to Get the Fast-Infra Label

The certification process begins with a Self-Assessment against the FAST-Infra Label criteria, with a quick and complimentary process through the Application Portal. This is followed by the submission of detailed project documentation and technical specifications for review. Bureau Veritas then conducts independent third-party verification, culminating in label award upon successful completion of the verification process.

Eligible projects include renewable energy infrastructure, sustainable transportation systems, water and waste management facilities, energy-efficient buildings and districts, and digital infrastructure supporting sustainability goals.
