Digital Twin

Digital Twin

WE CREATE DIGITAL TWINS

A digital twin is a digital replica of a living or non-living physical entity. By bridging the physical and the virtual world, data is transmitted seamlessly allowing the virtual entity to exist simultaneously with the physical entity.

Our hybrid processing enables the creation of engineering-ready reality meshes

Incorporate the versatility and convenience of high-resolution photography supplemented, where needed, by additional accuracy of point clouds from laser scanning, that can be utilised in:

  • Construction Progress Reports

Periodically creating reality models during the construction process that can be compared with the delivered progress reports to verify the actual progress – and to better set the scheduling and the work-packaging process.

  • 3D Inspection and Investigation

Using the sub-centimetre accurate 3D models produced from drone images and laser scanners, the models can be studied, inspected and combined with any digital models, to assess the defects and be able to take precise decisions on the inspection and maintenance scheduling.

  • Existing-Conditions/ As-Built Models

Many existing assets have outdated as-built models that don’t represent reality. 3D models produced from the combination of drone and laser scanner data can be used in place of existing-conditions/ as-built, so engineers can easily produce 2D drawings from them.

  • BIM

By using a precise model of existing conditions, operations, construction and design, professionals can measure, visualise, and fully comprehend their work and make better informed decisions.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Improve customer satisfaction

by providing more advanced up to date and accurate models that can be used as a sole source of information for assets and be integrated with their systems.

  • Save time

by providing much faster and very accurate as-built specifications that reduce the design time and centralise the access of all assets’ information.

  • Better project planning

by providing accurate progress reports that complement with the BIM process and save site inspection time and cost.

  • Enhanced visualization

and better understanding of the assets by having 3D high quality smart models representing the conditions of assets, as well as containing their information and historical data.
