Introducing: Dana Al Khaldi
Can you briefly explain your background and describe your role at BV?
I have over seven years of experience in the certification industry. I started my career as an Operations and Planning Officer at another certification body, where I honed my skills in project management and operational efficiency. This role laid a strong foundation for my understanding of certification processes and standards.
For the past three years, I’ve been with Bureau Veritas, initially as an Operations Responsible in the certification department, where I managed operational workflows and ensured compliance with industry standards. Currently, as a Business Development Executive, I leverage my operational expertise and my ISO 9001 auditor qualifications to identify new business opportunities and foster client relationships. This dual experience empowers me to contribute effectively to our team and drive growth for the organization.
Elaborate an experience in BV that you feel empowered.
As a female auditor and a business developer working with diverse clients across multiple industries, I have felt empowered to challenge norms and demonstrate the value of diverse perspectives in the auditing process. Engaging with different sectors has broadened my understanding and adaptability, allowing me to bring fresh insights and solutions to our clients. This experience not only enhances my professional growth but also inspires other women in the industry to pursue leadership roles and break barriers.
What do you want to advice to other women?
I encourage my fellow women at Bureau Veritas to voice their ideas and opinions confidently. Their perspectives are valuable and can drive positive change. And to foster a culture of support among women, to celebrate each other achievements and provide encouragement to one another.
