Preferred Hotels & Resorts partnered with Bureau Veritas on Health, Safety and Hygiene

Sep. 16 2020

In mid June, Bureau Veritas announced a partnership with Preferred Hotels & Resorts  to deploy the Safeguard Label, designed to support the operational restart activities of the hospitality industry.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts is the world's largest independent hotel brand representing 750 distinctive hotels, resorts, residences and unique hotel groups across 85 countries.  Bureau Veritas offices start to offer Safeguard Label to all member properties represented within the Preferred Hotels & Resorts portfolio in Middle East.

Hotels can provide reassurance to their guests and employees by complying health regulations and recommended protective measures. With the Safeguard label, Bureau Veritas can certify that appropriate safety standards, training and cleaning protocols are achieved to allow businesses in the hospitality sector, to reopen with confidence and welcome their guests in a healthy and safe environment.

The Safeguard label is offered globally. The checklists used for labeling were developed in collaboration with a Group of Health, Safety and Hygiene Specialists covering local and international regulations, as well as recognized best practices. In addition, we have the flexibility to adapt our solutions to several different local realities and local regulations. According to these checklists, remote and/or field audits have been done to check that the expected protective measures are implemented efficiently. Bureau Veritas will then grant the Safeguard label, based on the conformity to all requirements.  All the results of the audits will be gathered in an official global platform. With this digital platform, Bureau Veritas support companies in their health protocols and their commitment to transparency: https://restartwith.bureauveritas.com/pages/home/
