Provision of Consignment Based Conformity Assessment by Bureau Verıtas on behalf of the Kingdom of Morocco

The Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy of the Kingdom of Morocco has confirmed the end of the transitioning phase. As of 19th June, 2020 (date of arrival of goods), shipments arriving without a Certificate of Conformity (COC) will be rejected entry into Morocco. Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) program for the Kingdom of Morocco is mandatory and all exporters trading with the Kingdom of Morocco must comply with the requirements of the government.
Bureau Veritas is appointed for the provision of the CBCA for all regulated products prior export on behalf of the Kingdom of Morocco. The program is a Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) program focusing on conformity of goods with standards, risk management and issuance of certificate of conformity upon satisfactory results of the assessment.

The program applies to a wide range of products that includes Electrical products, Construction products, Toys, Vehicle parts, Gas appliances, for which Consignments would have to be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity.
Compliance of goods with the applicable standards shall be demonstrated through conformity documents issued by accredited entities, in-house laboratories of certified manufacturers and/or testing.
