WHO THE COURSE IS FOR?

• QHSE Managers, Internal Auditors, Management Representatives & Members of QUALITY/IMS teams

• Individuals working as a consultant or subject matter expert on ISO 9001 or other management systems

Pre-requisites:

 Completion of secondary education. 

• An understanding of report writing is desirable.

• The students are expected to have acquired the following prior knowledge:

Knowledge of the following:

• The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle. 

• The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction. 

• Commonly used quality management terms and definitions and the 7 Quality Principles as given in ISO 9000.

• The process approach used in quality management.

• The model of a process-based Quality Management System, the structure and content of ISO 9001. 

Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, which may be gained by completing an CQI-IRCA certified QMS 

Foundation Training course or equivalent

• What to look for in "Context of the Organization"

• What to look for in “Leadership”

• What to look for in "Planning for QMS”

• What to look for in “support”

• What to look for in “Operation”

• What to look for in "Performance evaluation & Improvement"?

• Accreditation Process (ISO 17021, IAF MD1)

• Auditor Competence ISO 19011

• Practical Exercises and Feedback.

• Role plays, there is a ‘two-hour examination’ at the end of this course. In addition, a ‘continuous assessment’ of the delegate contributes toward the overall grading.
