WHO THE COURSE IS FOR?

This course is a formal training modulecertified by CQI-IRCA to provide a basis for delegates who wish toprepare/qualify for quality or auditing, or who work in other functions orprofessions, who wish to understand the basics of auditing or implementing aquality management system. It is meant for those who are new to the managementsystems approach and the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard

• Perform an audit as per the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
• Have knowledge of key quality issues.
• Successfully execute a quality management systems audit.
• Communicate the audit findings to a client.
• Understand key elements of the ISO 19011:2018 and ISO/IEC 17021-2015 Standards IAF MD 1& MD 5.
• Plan an audit against a set of audit criteria.
• Create clear, concise and relevant audit reports.

The course uses a variety of learning methodsincluding taught sessions, discussions and practical exercises and roles playsto achieve its aims. The practical exercises are based upon a contiguous casestudy. However, the procedures, work instructions and data are typical andcould relate to many different enterprises equally. The practical exerciseshave been carefully designed to focus upon issues that commonly arise duringQMS audits.

• An introduction to the concept of quality, its basic concepts, and terminology associated with quality management.

• Introduction to the benefits that may be achieved through implementation of an ISO 9001:2015 compliant systems

• Introduction to the ISO 9000 series of standards

• Detailed review and interpretation of the particular requirements of ISO 9001:2015

• Effective approach to an implementation project

• Guidance on the benefits of building on this foundation training and becoming an CQI-IRCA certified internal auditor
