Can you briefly explain your background?

I hold a Master of Business Administration Degree from Cardiff University, UK and have worked in the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) industry in sales & management roles since 2012 in UAE & Oman. I started my journey with Bureau Veritas in 2018 as the Sales Manager for the Food & Water Laboratory for Dubai.

With over 5 years in Bureau Veritas, I have now moved into the role of Sales & Marketing Manager for the Agri Food and Commodities Business Line for the Middle East region. 
 

Describe your role at BV?

As the Sales & Marketing Manager for the Agri Food & Commodities Department for the Middle East Region, my role at Bureau Veritas is to lead and manage all sales and marketing activities to create/develop Bureau Veritas’ presence in the region and generate sales revenue for the company in line with the overall business & sales strategy. 

What’s your greatest professional achievement and your biggest challenge?

I can share that one of the significant milestones has been the ability to understand the ever-evolving customer mindset both internal & external and generate sales revenue targets in line with the company requirements. Each day at Bureau Veritas allows me to continuously learn and improve with every interaction.

In terms of challenges, one of the biggest is to overcome the competitor pricing by providing effective service delivery solutions we offer at Bureau Veritas. 

In your daily work, how do you contribute to Shaping a World of Trust?

We touch upon through our testing and inspection service offering a variety of industries and commodities that have a direct impact on the human health and environment. By providing accurate testing and inspection reports, our commitment to Shaping a World of Trust continues in our day-to-day operations.
