Can you briefly explain your background and describe your role at BV?

I hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, specializing in oil rig equipment and drilling engineering. My career encompasses various roles in business development, operations, and accreditation within the marine and petroleum sectors. This diverse experience has equipped me with a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen.

Describe your role at BV?

Since joining Bureau Veritas in October 2022 as a Business Development Senior Executive in the Industry department, I have been responsible for driving OPEX sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating client relationships within the industry sector. My duties include developing comprehensive proposals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through BV's services.

Elaborate an experience in BV that you feel empowered.

One notable experience was leading a strategic partnership initiative with a major industry player. Through proactive networking and relationship-building, I secured a lucrative contract that significantly boosted revenue for Bureau Veritas and reinforced our reputation as a trusted industry partner. This achievement allowed me to leverage my skills and expertise to drive impactful outcomes for both BV and our clients.

What do you want to advice to other women?

My advice to women working as business development Executives and similar industries is to have confidence in themselves and abilities. Seek mentorship, challenge stereotypes, and advocate for their worth. Continuous learning and networking are essential to staying ahead in this dynamic field. Build a strong support network, embrace opportunities for growth, and lead by example to inspire the next generation of women in STEM.
