Can you briefly explain your background?

I'm an experienced marketing and communication specialist with a rich background spanning various industries. Currently, I lead marketing communication strategy for the Middle East Region and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Bureau Veritas Group. In this role, I focus on enhancing our social media presence, conducting market research, and organizing regional events. Before joining Bureau Veritas, I held positions such as Digital Marketing Specialist at Upwork and Commercial Analyst at Imtiaz, where I honed my skills in online marketing and market analysis. My earlier roles in companies like Yamaha Motor Pakistan  and Bayer provided me with a strong foundation in areas such as operations, project management, and customer relationship. I hold an MBA in Marketing & Supply Chain from the Institute of Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Staffordshire University. My educational background, coupled with my diverse professional experience, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in marketing strategy, operational management, and business development.
 

Describe your role at BV?

As the Marketing & Communication Specialist for the Middle East Region (MER) & Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) at Bureau Veritas (BV), I develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication strategies to enhance our brand presence and drive engagement. My responsibilities include social media management, conducting market research, creating compelling content, planning and executing regional events, CRM management, and facilitating internal communication. By blending strategic planning, creative content development, and meticulous execution, I contribute to achieving our marketing objectives and fostering the growth and success of the organization in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.

What’s your greatest professional achievement and your biggest challenge?

One of my greatest professional achievements is leading and implementing Salesforce compliance initiatives at Bureau Veritas Group. Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance within the Salesforce platform is crucial for effective marketing and communication strategies. By spearheading these efforts, I have contributed to enhancing the organization's data management practices and improving overall efficiency and effectiveness in customer relationship management.

However, my biggest challenge has been navigating the complexities of managing marketing operations across multiple countries with diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes. Ensuring consistency in brand messaging, adhering to local regulations, and effectively communicating with diverse audiences pose ongoing challenges. Nevertheless, I view these challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. I continuously strive to overcome them by leveraging my strategic thinking, adaptability, and cross-cultural communication skills to develop tailored marketing strategies that resonate with each target market while maintaining compliance with local laws and regulations. Through proactive collaboration and a commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each region, I aim to navigate these challenges successfully and drive continued growth and success for Bureau Veritas Group.
