SECURITY OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Crimes happen all the time. It’s not a new thing for companies to be vandalized or thieves to break into someone’s home. With increasing threats, it becomes difficult. That’s why everyone needs a security guard protecting their homes or businesses. Protecting both tangible and intangible assets is a critical task for the viability, profitability and sustainability of any type of organization (public, private, or not-for-profit).
Private security operations perform an important role in protecting state and non-state clients engaged in relief, recovery, and reconstruction efforts; commercial business operations; development activities; diplomacy; and military activity. Private, contract security officers can make a significant impact on safety and security, as they can be dedicated to specific posts or areas, serve as a deterrent to crime, and be a resource to local law enforcement and the community.
The organization, in close coordination with legitimate clients and state actors, needs to adopt and implement the standards necessary to ensure that human rights and fundamental freedoms are adhered to in order to safeguard lives and property, and that untoward, illegal, and excessive acts are prevented.
